It's been awhile since living in a place where it gets cold enough for the leaves to change color. This was probably the last weekend before the trees will settle into their winter bareness. My roommate Nicholas and I decided to take a weekend trip to the buffalo wilderness.
I found out afterwards that the hike we did is the "most visited" attraction in Arkansas. Not sure what we'll do for the next 30+ weekends I'll be in this state but at least we started off with a bang.
The best part about camping in the Ozarks was that it didn't dip below 60 degrees. And reason #72 for why I love this truck is because cowboy camping in the back is both convenient and shockingly comfortable. Plus a nice perk of wilderness in a laissez-faire state is that you can camp literally anywhere and no one will complain which meant we set up shop right at the trailhead readying ourselves for a 5am hike to sunrise.
